Doing it right

Ryan McGinnis has an excellent post up on creating HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos using Photoshop. I haven’t done this yet at all; I haven’t had much motivation to, considering the garish haloed monstrosities most people call HDR. But obviously it can be done right, if you know what you’re doing. I’m going to have to remember this for times when the dynamic range of a scene looks too wide to capture.
